SFC /SCANNOW finds corrupted files but is unable to fix them, help!

Question 1. I received this message in Windows 10 while trying to run sfc /scannow to find and repair corrupted files in my PC: 'Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.' How can I solve this issue and repair corrupted files in my PC?

Question 2. I tried to create a System Restore point on my Windows 8 PC but the Restore point failed with this massage: Writer experienced a transient error. So I ran sfc /scannow to fix the issue but received the message:'Windows Resource Protection found corrupted files but was unable to fix some of them'.

  3. 3. Click Selective Startup on the General tab > Click to clear the Load Startup Items check box;
  4. 4. Click Service > Select Hide All Microsoft Services check box and then click Disable All > OK.
  5. 5. Click Restart to clean boot PC;
  6. 6. Find out applications or tools that blocks SFC working, uninstall and reinstall them;
  7. 7. Reboot PC back to normal boot again:
  • Click Start > Type:msconfig and hit Enter;
  • Enter password if the system ask you for administrator password for a confirmation and Continue;
  • Under General tab, click Normal Startup > OK;
