Method 1. Enable UEFI boot option in BIOS to fix Windows cannot install on GPT drive error

  • Reboot PC and enter BIOS;
  • Enable UEFI boot > Save settings and exit BIOS;
  • Continue to install Windows.

This method can only work when your boot disk support UEFI boot mode and you can check out whether your disk supports UEFI boot or not in the BIOS spec.
