Can't Delete Files or Format My SD Card, What Should I Do?

It almost drove me crazy! I can't delete files or format my 4GB Sandisk card. It is write-protected, but I can't remove write-protection from my SD card since its switch is not set to a lock position. What should I do now? Help, please!
