A Question Arises When I Create a New Partition on Unallocated Space Using Diskpart, Help

I want to install Windows 7 on an unallocated space made by shrinking an extended partition. The problem is that I can't create new partitions on unallocated space using Diskpart for Windows setup because the 'list partition' of diskpart does not show space. How can I solve this?

Based on my experience, the "list partition" of the Diskpart may not show space because the Windows setup cannot use the existing partition because it does not contain the required free space. You need to delete some files or partitions to make enough room, which is one of the high-risk operations for the drive.   • Launch EaseUS Partition Master, and click "Partition Manager."
  • Right-click on the partition and pick "Delete."
  • Click "Yes" > "Execute 1 Task" > "Apply" to apply the change.
