Is SSD Required for Dragon's Dogma 2

I have a 2TB HDD and don't have an SSD yet. I know Dragon's Dogma 2 is optimized for SSD, but I'm wondering if I can run this game well on my HDD. Appreciate for any answers!

No, Dragon's Dogma 2 does not require an SSD. You are able to play the game on an HDD. However, SSD is recommended to run DD2 with better performance.

The most obvious difference between playing games on HDDs and SSDs is the loading time of the game. If you play the game on an HDD, the loading time will take longer than that of those who use an SSD. In addition, the developer has optimized Dragon's Dogma 2 for SSD, meaning there will be a better gaming experience for SSD users.

If you decide to upgrade to SSD and install the game on it, you can use a reliable program migration tool to skip the time-consuming reinstallation. I recommend EaseUS Todo PCTrans Professional as it offers a one-click feature for you to move an app from one drive to another.

You can follow the steps here to move Dragon's Dogma 2 and relevant data from HDD to SSD:

Step 1. Launch EaseUS Todo PCTrans and go to the "App Migration" section.

Step 2. Hit "Start" to scan programs on your PC.

Step 3. Select the drive where Dragon's Dogma 2 is installed and tick the game from the list.

Step 4. Then, set the SSD as the destination and hit "Transfer" to start moving.

After the process, you can then play Dragon's Dogma 2 on SSD with a better gaming experience. For users who want to upgrade their computers, this tool also has the ability to transfer programs from one PC to another. You can check the following article if you are interested in.
