Fix USB Drive Becoming Write Protected Error on Windows 7 Ultimate

When inserting my USB drive into my desktop PC running Windows 7 Ultimate, it becomes write-protected. And when I use it on my laptop, I can't delete the files. I have tried scanning for malware and viruses, but it did not work. Can I repair this error without reformatting it? Can anyone help me?
