Is Migrating OS Safe?

I recently purchased a new SSD and want to transfer my operating system from my primary HDD to the new SSD. However, I don't want to lose any programs and keep all my stuff. Is it safe to migrate OS? If so, please tell me how to do so.

Yes, it is completely safe to migrate your operating system. What you need to do is a process called cloning.
