Can We Add An SSD Drive In A Dell 3584 Model Having a 1TB HDD Drive?

My Dell 3584 has been used for a while and I would like to expand its capacity by adding an SSD drive. But it already has a 1TB HDD drive on it. Is it feasible for I to add an SSD? Will the SSD installation erase all data on the SSD?

YES, of course, you can.

Using both HDD and SSD on the same laptop or computer is feasible, and you can use the SSD as the boot drive, and use HDD as the storage drive.

SSD comes up with many benefits, such as lower power consumption, faster boot speed, enhanced performance, etc,. By using both HDD and SSD together, you can take advantage of the lightning speed of SSD and the large storage space of HDD.

In this scenario, you need to migrate your Windows OS on Dell 3584 from HDD to SSD, and then boot your device from the new cloned SSD. The old HDD can be used as a storage drive.

To make the process successful and smooth, you can turn to the help of a professional disk cloning tool, EaseUS Diskc Copy. It allows you to clone HDD to SSD with several simple clicks.
