Is Baldur's Gate 3 Playable Without SSD

I just bought Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam but I realized that I don't have an SSD as the PC requirements described. Is Baldur's Gate 3 playable on HDD? Will there be any potential risk if I do so? Thanks in advance!
