I have some SD cards that write protection buttons are lost. Each time I connect these SD cards to my PC and want to copy some files to that, windows shows the write protection message. I'm looking for software to fix this problem permanently. Let me know if there is any way to remove write protection from my SD cards. Thanks.

According to your description, your SD cards are write-protected, which means you can neither change nor modify the data on these SD cards. Don't worry if you are looking for software that permanently removes write protection from sd card Windows 7. You can try the three-party software EaseUS Partition Master Free, which enables you to remove the write protection from SD cards with the Write Protection Removal tool.

To sum up, if you want to fix your problem quickly, EaseUS Partition Master will be very helpful for you.

And we also offer another reliable solution that works for most write protection problems. If you are an experienced user familiar with Registry, you can use Windows Registry to disable write protection:

Here is how to do it:

Step 1. Press "Windows + R" and type "Regedit" in the box. Click "Enter."

Step 2. Follow the path: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Step 3. Double-click the "WriteProtect" to open it.

Step 4. Ensure "Value data" is 0 and check "Hexadecimal." Click "OK."

You can restart your PC and check if the drive is writable when all is done. But be careful with these operations, don't mess up your computer. If you are not sure, EaseUS Partition Master will be your better choice.
