How Do I Uninstall a Program When the Button Is Greyed Out

I'm trying to uninstall 3D Viewer off my laptop (I'm running out of space on a hard disk), but the Uninstall button is greyed out when I go to Apps and Features. If I bring up Control Panel - Programs - Uninstall Programs, I don't see 3D Viewer there. Why can't I uninstall the programs, and why does the Uninstall button get grey? Any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.

Hello, when you try to uninstall certain applications, you may find that the "Uninstall" option is grayed out. I've also encountered this problem. Then I have two solutions for you. You can try one by one:

1. Via Command Prompt or PowerShell

We can remove certain programs using PowerShell or Command Prompt. Here's how:

Step 1. Open PowerShell or command prompt as admin.

Step 2. Powershell: Enter Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_Product | Select-Object -Property Name

If the program you want to uninstall is listed, type in Remove-AppxPackage PackageFullName. You need to replace PackageFullName with the correct name of the app.

This method works well and efficiently if you have some computing experience. Otherwise, you can use a professional app uninstaller - EaseUS Todo PCTrans.

This tool can help you uninstall multiple applications and delete all related caches and other files with one click. And it's very beginner-friendly. Here is how to do it:

Step 1. Install EaseUS Todo PCTrans on your Windows PC first.

Step 2. Open it and choose the App Management mode; click "Start" to continue.

Step 3. You can see all the apps installed on your PC on this screen. Choose the one you want to uninstall.

Step 4. Click "Uninstall" to finish this process.

Most programs are installed there and contain uninstall scripts. Find the folder where the application is installed. To find the location, right-click the program icon in the Start menu or desktop and click "Open file location." Find unwise.exe or the file with the word "uninstall" on it. Double-click the file to start the uninstall routine. These manual methods are suitable for users with certain computer experience. If you are afraid of data loss, it is more reliable to choose third-party software.
