How do I move data from my old computer to my new one, which has a 1TB HDD and an SSD boot disk? However, only the startup files go on the SSD, and most general stuff goes on the HDD.

Various methods can help users transfer data between two PCs, including using an external storage device or USB cable and uploading/downloading from the cloud. However, all of them require tools and extra effort. Don't worry. I will introduce a trustworthy data transfer tool to help users automatically perform selective data transfer.
EaseUS Todo PCTrans Professional enables Windows users to quickly and safely transfer files/data from an old computer to a new one. It supports all versions of Windows and all file types, including videos, photos, documents, and applications. You can select the files on different hard drives and transfer them to another computer with simple clicks.
Support Windows 11/10/8/7
Step 1. Launch EaseUS Todo PCTrans on two computers. Choose "PC to PC" in the panel.
Step 2. Ensure you have chosen the right transfer direction, and confirm the old and new computers.
Step 3. Enter the target PC's password or verification code to connect two PCs to the same network.
The "PC to PC" main screen displays the verification code at the top of the target computer.
Step 4. Select "Files" to choose which files to transfer next. Choose the exact files you desire. To further alter the storage path for transferred data, click the Edit icon.
Step 5. Click "Transfer" now to move files between PCs, and wait patiently.
Below are some other detailed instructions you can follow to transfer data from old to new computer selectively:
