Is It Possible To Add a Specific Folder to Automatic Backup?

I have a folder on my laptop specifically for storing family videos and photos. But I am still worried about losing it each time my laptop updates. Now, I want to set an automatic backup for this folder to save backup to Dropbox every week. How can I do it?

The answer is YES. Adding a specific folder to an automatic backup is feasible by using the schedule backup feature.

Schedule backup is an IT activity that uses advanced technology to execute the backup script, which eliminates the manual operation completely. Adopting scheduled backup is a safer way to prevent data loss(including images, videos, documents, music, etc.) due to hardware failure, computer viruses, malware, misoperation, physical damage, etc.

EaseUS Todo Backup is a data backup and restore tool with the scheduled backup option. With it, you can set an automatic backup on hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or upon an event to protect your files. Follow the steps below to back up specific folders automatically with EaseUS Todo Backup:

  • Launch EaseUS Todo Backup > click Create Backup.
  • Choose the folder as the backup source.
  • Select a backup destination to save your backups. (local drive, cloud, NAS, etc.)
  • Click Options on the bottom-left > Backup Scheme.
  • Choose a backup scheme based on your needs, and click OK.
  • Click Bakcup Now to perform the task.

Windows built-in Backup and Restore, and File History utilities also come with the automatic backup feature. But EaseUS Todo Backup has more options and is the choice for most people. You should never miss it.
