Yes, you can clone a hard drive and use it on another computer.

Your computer can start running slower and slower every day after a few years of use. Maybe, it's time to upgrade to a new computer and replace the old one. Clone your hard drive to this new computer if you want to replace your old computer while keeping the same system configuration, data, apps, and settings.

Installing drivers was a pain when using Windows 7 or even Windows 8.1. In the modern day, Windows 10 just effortlessly finds everything it requires on every device. Therefore, it is acceptable to clone a drive and put it into any other computer or system.

The process of cloning a data disk is simple. Things could get trickier when transferring the Windows installation hard disk to a different computer. You must consider the device driver conflicts and the Windows activation problem.

You may always clone or move your HDD to a new computer, regardless of whether your current one runs Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10. This is because you can try the "System Transfer" feature offered by EaseUS Disk Copy to clone the Windows system without removing and installing the disk.
