Recover Accidentally Deleted Partition from External Hard Drive

I was doing the disk management on my computer and right-click on my portable hard drive and accidentally clicked on the deleted partition. How can I fix this? My hard drive is now refuse to show up on my computer or disk management. I cannot partition it now. I do not need to return the lost partition because I need the data there.
