Photo Booth Videos Are Aaved as Corrupted Files on My Mac, How to Fix?

My photo booth videos are saved as corrupted files that show 0 seconds after I record. I'm unable to play them even after I put my computer into safe mode, changed users, restarted, deleted the photobooth library, made a new one, etc.

If your photo booth videos are saved as corrupted files, they will show 0 seconds, and you can't play them normally. How can you fix corrupted videos on a Mac photo booth? You can follow the steps here:

Step 1. Install EaseUS Fixo Video Repair on your Mac.

Step 2. Click "Video Repair" on the left and "Add Video" to upload your corrupted MP4/MOV/MKV/3GP video files.

Step 3. Select a targeted video and click the "Repair" button to start the single video repairing process. If you want to repair all the videos, select them all and click "Repair All".

Wait a few minutes, and the corrupted videos will be repaired. The time you wait depends on how corrupted your videos are.

Step 4. Click the "View Repaired" to preview the videos. To save the fixed video, hit the "Save" button. Keeping multiple videos is okay. Just choose "Save All" to complete.

Besides, formatting, directory structure, and a damaged file on a Mac storage device might all contribute to the photo booth video corruption issue. You can run First-Aid to resolve disk-related problems on a Mac:

  • Launch Disk Utility on your Mac, select your Mac startup disk (usually refer to Macintosh HD), and click "First Aid" at the top menu.
  • Wait for the First Aid process to complete, and click "Done". Open your photo booth to check if the recorded videos can be played normally.
