Could someone please assist? When I try to get back in, my iMessage continues locking me out and saying that an unknown error happened. The password is accurate and hasn't changed. Any thoughts?

Why does iMessage keep asking you to sign in to your Mac? This issue may happen when you enter the wrong Apple ID password, and your Mac or iPhone will prompt you to enter your Apple ID password repeatedly. Or you have presently restored Mac, and the restoration has not yet been completed. Anyway, many potential reasons can lead to this error; try following fixes when you encounter iMessage keeps asking to sign in.
1. Log out your iCloud account on your Mac. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences. Click Apple ID, then click Overview, and choose the Sign Out button. Make sure you tick the relevant boxes if you wish to store a copy of your iCloud data on your Mac prior to signing out. Next, select "Keep a Copy." Finally, you just need to sign in to your Apple ID again.
2. Try to create a new user and log in to iMessage. Choose Apple menu > System Settings > Users & Groups on your Mac. Under the users list on the right, select the Add User button. Select a user type by clicking the New User pop-up menu.
3. Contact Apple Support. If you have tried everything but cannot fix this issue, it's recommended that you contact the professional team for help, or go to the Apple Support website.
