External Hard Drive Won't Format to exFAT, How to Solve?

I'm trying to format an external hard drive, preferably to exFAT, but diskpart and Disk Management failed. But I get an error message: DiskPart has encountered an error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). See the System Event Log for more information. What should I do?

The cyclic redundancy check data error mostly results from corrupt system files, especially registry corruption. Therefore, you need to check and detect the errors to repair these errors. In addition, you can rely on a third-party partition expert to simplify the format process without causing data loss or system errors.
