Why My Game Won't Open After Moving From C to D

I installed a new hard drive yesterday to expand my computer's storage capacity. However, I have moved one of my games from C drive to D drive and tried to open it, but it won't open. Why my game won't open after moving from C to D? Did I miss any steps during the migration? Can someone help me with this? Appreciate any help!

Directly cutting or copying games from C drive and pasting them to D drive is not a proper migration. Because the operation changes the file path of your game, the game platform will ask you to relocate the directory of your game, and relevant registry entries also require modification to ensure the game is correctly and completely transferred from C drive to D drive. However, the manual operation takes time and energy.

I assume you don't want to uninstall and reinstall the game, so the only way left is to use program transfer software.
