How to Uninstall Avast Antivirus

I'm attempting to remove Avast because it was suspending most of the apps I was using, but I can't even close the application in Task Manager because it says 'access denied.' Could you possibly assist me?

Can't uninstall Avast Antivirus? Don't worry. Below are two tested and quick ways to force uninstall the software that won't uninstall:

Way 1. Use a Free Program Uninstaller

EaseUS Todo PCTrans Free can force the program/App to uninstall without any leftover files. This professional tool can delete Avast Antivirus and its related files with one click.

Support Windows 11/10/8/7

Step 1: Select App Management, then click "Start" to safely remove and fix any corrupted apps.

Step 2: Select Avast Antivirus from all those installed on your computer. (If you have trouble uninstalling something, you can click the little triangle and choose "Delete.")

Step 3: Click "Uninstall" in step three. (To fix programs, click the symbol just beneath "Uninstall" and select "Repair.")

Way 2. Remove Avast In Safe Mode

Step 1: Use the shortcut "Windows" + "I" to open Windows Settings. Choose "System" on the left, then go to the "Recovery" session.

Step 2: Select "Restart Now" by clicking the button next to "Advanced Startup." There will be a pop-up dialogue box. Once more, click "Restart now." Selecting "Advanced options" from Troubleshoot opens a new window.

Step 3: Choose "Restart" after clicking on "Startup Settings." Press "4" or "F4" to enter Safe Mode in the next window. Try uninstalling the applications once more when your system enters Safe Mode. Restarting your device will remove the Safe Mode feature.
