How to transfer local files to another computer? Are there any built-in tools in Windows that can do the job? Or should I download a third-party program to do this? Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance!

Microsoft has partnered with Laplink, and they have developed a tool called PCmover. It allows you to transfer files between two computers. However, if you only have a few files to transfer, there's no need to pay for the operation. EaseUS Todo PCTrans allow users to transfer 2GB files or folders between two PCs for free.

Here are the detailed steps:

Step 1. Open EaseUS Todo PCTrans on both computers and select the appropriate option in the PC to PC tab.

Step 2. Connect the two PCs via Account Password or Verification Code.

Step 3. Then, you can select files on your PC and transfer them to the other one.

Besides transferring files from one PC to another, this tool also supports finding product keys of licensed programs. This feature is quite helpful if you plan to migrate programs between computers.
