How to Move Windows 10 from 2TB HDD to 1TB SSD Without Removing Files on Either Disc?

I want to replace my old 2TB HDD with a new 1TB SSD to boot my computer and improve its performance. Do you have any suggestions for doing this without removing files on both drives?

If you want to move Windows 1o OS from a larger HDD to a smaller SSD with all the data intact, you must satisfy the following requirements to successfully migrate the OS.

  • Ensure that the data on the old HDD is less than 1 TB so you can accommodate them in the 1TB SSD.
  • Back up all data on the SSD to another disk ro ensure the safety of your information.
  • Select a reliable disk cloning tool, such as EaseUS Disk Copy, to migrate data from HDD to SSD. This tool creates a 1-to-1 copy of the source disk without any loss.
