How to Backup Your Files in Windows 11 and Downgrade Back to Windows 10

Windows kept reminding me to upgrade to Windows 11 several weeks ago, and I did so. After experiencing a period, I would prefer Windows 10 rather than Windows 11. So I plan to downgrade back to Windows 10. How can I back up my files in Windows 11 before that?

The best and fastest way to back up your Windows 11 files is using third-party software like EaseUS Todo Backup. It is a professional backup and recovery tool that can help save a copy of your Windows 11 files with easy steps.

EaseUS Todo Backup allows you to back up everything on your computer, including files, folders, disks, system, and even App data. And you can save backed data to a hard drive, NAS, cloud service, or security zone.

It won’t lose any data during the data backup, so that you can use it confidently. Download it and start the file backup process.

Step 1. Launch EaseUS Todo Backup on your Windows computer,

Step 2. Click "Select backup contents" on the main interface.

Step 3. Select "File" as your backup source.

Step 4. Select a location to save your backup. (We recommend an external hard drive, a network location, or a cloud service like Google Drive.)

Step 5. Click "Backup Now" to start the process.

EaseUS Todo Backup only requires five simple clicks to finish the file backup. When you downgrade your system to Windows 10, relaunch EaseUS Todo Backup and restore your file:

Step 1. Click "Browser to Recover" on the main interface.

Step 2. Navigate to where you store the backup data, and choose the files you want to restore.

Step 3. Choose a recovery location, and click "Proceed" to restore them.
