Here's the thing: I want to upgrade my HDD to SDD for better running performance of my computer. But the storage space of SDD is 256GB, smaller than my 500GB HDD. Is there any way to help me to clone a larger drive to a smaller one without issues? Thanks in advance!

It enables you to quickly clone the HDD to the SSD without damaging either disk. It will work perfectly as long as the SSD has enough space for the data on your HDD. However, if there's not enough space on your SSD, you can thin it down by moving some of the data to another device or only migrating the OS to the SSD.
