Applies To: PC and laptop running Windows 7 and later; Mac running OS X 10.7 and later
Whether you are using a computer running Windows or macOS, you can use the iOS data transfer tool, EaseUS MobiMover/phone-transfer/mobimover.html, to copy pictures from your iPod (or iPhone/iPad) to your computer. With this tool, you can get photos off your iPod either by item or by album. In addition to importing files from an iOS device to a computer, MobiMover also enables you to:
Other than photos, MobiMover also supports other categories, including videos, audio files, contacts, messages, books, and more. In a word, MobiMover is a versatile tool for iDevice users like you. When it comes to iOS data transfer, file management, and video download, you can help yourself out with the assistance of it.
Now, follow the guide below to transfer photos from your iPod to the computer in four steps.
Step 1. Connect your iPod to your computer (Mac, PC, or laptop). Launch EaseUS MobiMover, then choose "Phone to PC" and click "Next" on the screen. If you prefer to transfer photos from iPod to computer selectively, go to "Content Management" > "Pictures" > "Photos".
Step 2. Select "Pictures" to move photos from the iPod to the computer. You can also choose other supported data categories at the same time. MobiMover will export the images to your desktop by default. And you can customize the storage path as you wish.
Step 3. Now, click the "Transfer" button to start transferring photos from iPod to computer at a fast speed. You can back up your iPod through this way regularly.

You can import the photos from your iPod Camera Roll to your computer via Windows Explorer. With this method, it's convenient for you to transfer all the photos from your iPod to computer. However, if you prefer to copy pictures selectively, it will be time-consuming for you to choose the items. Besides, if you intend to get photos off your iPod by album, which can be done with Method 1, using this tip can't fulfill your needs. Even though, this method is a preferred option if you don't want to install a third-party tool. (The following steps are performed on Windows 10 computer.)
Step 1: Unlock your iPod and connect it to your PC/laptop. When a prompt pops up on your iDevice asking you whether to trust this computer, click Trust.
Step 2: Open This PC on your computer, go to [your iPhone name] > Internal Storage > DCIM > 100APPLE.
Step 3: Choose to transfer the whole folder or some specific items from iPod to your computer according to your needs.
Applies To: Computer running Windows 10
