How to Recover Sony RSV Files?

Does anyone know of a Windows video recovery tool to recover Sony RSV files? I was shooting with a Sony digital camera yesterday, but the camera suddenly crashed and died. All videos were saved as RSV files. When I try to open them on my PC, it seems that they are all lost. Can anyone help me?

You may be familiar with the MXF files if you are a Sony camera user, but RSV may sound new. Actually, the video and photo files will be saved as an RSV file only when your Sony camera crashes or powers off while you are shooting. RSV files are inaccessible and useless, which ruins your efforts and time of photographing. If your RSV files are lost, you can recover Sony RSV files by using EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro.

Step 1. Open EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro and select the location where you originally stored your video files. Click "Scan" to find your lost files.

Step 2. The tool will scan all data in the chosen location. You can go to the left panel and choose "Videos" or "Photos". You can locate the lost photos or videos by choosing "Lost".

Step 3. Preview and select the video or photo files you want to get back. Click "Recover" to save them in a safer place.

But you cannot open the RSV files even when you get them back because they are inaccessible files that cannot be opened. You need some other RSV opener application to come to help.

So, if your RSV files are lost, you can first use photo and video recovery software like EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro to retrieve them and open them with some other RSV opener. But you'd better ensure your camera is in good condition when filming, and you should keep your camera serviced regularly.

Use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover deleted or lost files easily and quickly.
