Should I Have File History On or Off?

I usually back up files on my Windows 10 computer once a week with the Backup and Restore feature. Do I need to enable File History to back up data again? What's the difference between Backup & restore and File History?

File History is a Windows backup option that allows you to back up files on your computer periodically. But there are other options for Windows backup. If you have already applied other programs like Backup and Restore or third-party backup software, there is no need to keep the File History on.

Backup and Restore is also a Windows built-in tool that helps you to back up your files and system image. It is more potent than File History because it allows you to restore the entire computer to its earlier state should a disaster occur.

EaseUS Todo Backup is a powerful and comprehensive third-party backup tool that can back up files, folders, disk partitions, or the entire system. You can use it to create a complete system image backup should you need to restore your computer should something goes wrong. With multiple backup features, you can customize an individual backup plan with ease.

Compared with File History and Backup & Restore, EaseUS Tod Backup is a more professional and robust backup solution that you should consider.
