Does Windows Backup Save Installed Programs?

Hi, everybody; I've been looking for a method to back up my installed programs. My laptop has been acting up recently, so I'm considering a factory reset. I'm concerned about losing my applications (for some of which I've misplaced the product key and instructions on how to retrieve it, and I can't afford to buy them again). I intend to make a system image of my laptop using Backup and Restore. Does this Windows backup save my installed programs?

If all of these installed apps are saved on the C drive (often the system drive), creating a system image will save them all. If you save these program files on another drive, the Windows backup will not save installed apps, and you will need to rely on third-party software, such as EaseUS Todo Backup.

Window Backup and Restore is a built-in Windows program that allows users to backup files and create system images. A system image is a copy of your entire hard drive, including the Windows operating system, settings, configurations, system-related files, installed programs, etc.

Since most users prefer to personalize the location of applications when installing them, not all programs are saved on the system drive. You should utilize APP backup software to ensure the safety of these programs.

You can use EaseUS Todo Backup to back up your installed applications because it is a dependable and professional APP/file/disk/system backup program. Backing up APPs takes merely a few steps and does not result in data loss. EaseUS Todo Backup includes all of the functionality in Backup and Restore and more complex functions not found in Backup and Restore, making it a superior alternative for people looking to protect their computers.

Download it and use it to back up all of your data.
