Clonezilla Refuses to Clone from Dying SSD to NVME

I use a 1TB SSD, but it recently showed some bad symbols. My computer runs much slower than before and is maxed out at a constant 100% usage, taking the P C with it. I tried to use Clonezilla to clone the SSD data to a new NVMe SSD, but it refused to clone the SSD. What can I do with it? Are there any other tools available to clone dying SSDs to NVMe?

If you use Clonezilla to clone a dying SSD to NVME but fail, you can remove the bad sectors, shrink the partition, or use a Clonezilla alternative to solve the issue. Clonezilla refuses to clone from dying SSD to NVMe is caused by many potential reasons. The best way to fix this issue is to use the Clonezilla alternative, EaseUS Disk Copy. It is a robust disk cloning tool that allows users to clone hard drives with bad sectors

EaseUS Disk Copy is widely known as one of the best disk cloning software for Windows PCs. It offers a comprehensive clone solution, including disk, partition, and system clone. It is also compatible with various types of HDDs and SSDs from different manufacturers.

With advanced and intelligent technology, EaseUS Disk Copy supports Cloning an HDD or SSD with bad sectors to another disk, requiring only several simple clicks.

  • Step 1. Launch EaseUS Disk Copy and select Disk Mode.
  • Step 2. Choose the original SSD as the source disk, and click Next.
  • Step 3. Select the new NVME as the target disk, and click Proceed.
  • Step 4. Click Continue to confirm the warning message that the cloning process will erase all the data saved on the new target disk. The cloning process will then start.

Wait for the cloning process to finish; you can get a cloned NVME disk, and all the data on the old disk will be migrated to the new one seamlessly.

Additionally, you can use its sector-by-sector clone to skip the bad sectors, which won't move them to the new disk. Download and experience smooth disk cloning with EaseUS Disk Copy.
