How Do I View Photos on a Mac from an External Hard Drive

Hey, can anybody tell me how to view photos on a Mac from my external hard drive? I am a computer rookie. Thank you in advance.

First, carefully connect the external hard drive to your Mac with a USB cable and connector.
Now, you need to open the Finder by clicking its icon from the Dock. You can also hold the Command + N to open it.
Now, from the left panel of Finder, under the "Locations" tab, you can find your external hard drive. Click your hard drive and select it.
Now, locate your target folder where your photos are saved on the external hard drive.
If you have no idea which folder the photos are stored in, you can utilize the search feature in the Finder. You can search either file extension or file name.
Once you find the photos you want to view, double-click them to preview. To store them on your Mac, simply drag them to any folder you want.
