How to fix live wallpaper not working in iOS 11 iPhone

1. Restart your iPhone

To solve some small problems, like wallpaper not working here, screen recording not working in iOS 11, or touch ID not working, iPhone restart is an easy but effective way to troubleshoot.

For iPhone 8/8 Plus/7/6

  • Press and hold the Side button until the slider appears.
  • Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone.
  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button again until the Apple logo appears on your phone screen.

For iPhone X

  • Press and hold the Side button and either volume up/down button until the slider appears.
  • Swipe the slider to turn off your iPhone.
  • Press and hold the Side button again until the Apple logo appears on your phone screen.

2. Disable Low Power Mode

The Low Power Mode may cause the live wallpaper not working in iOS 11. When you turn on the Low Power Mode, iPhone will automatically disable many dynamic effects to save the power. You can disable the Low Power Mode as the way below:

  • Go to Settings > Battery > Turn off Low Power Mode
