How to Recover Sony ARW Files

Recently I was cleaning my computer because it is out of memory. I deleted some unnecessary files and folders and even videos. But today, I found that my ARW files taken with Sony are all gone. Surprisingly, I have no memory of deleting them. Anyway, is there any way to recover my Sony ARW files? Thank you in advance.

ARW is less known than other photo formats like JPG or PNG. But if you are a Sony camera user, you will immediately know it. ARW is the newest RAW format owned exclusively by Sony Digital Cameras.

If you lost your ARW files, don't worry; there is a way out. But before we cut to the chase, remember to avoid taking any new photos with your camera and storing them on the same SD card. You can always recover them as long as no new data is overwritten. Try EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro to make the RAW file recovery possible.

Step 1. Find the location where you deleted or lost pictures and click "Scan" to begin the process.

Step 2. When the scanning is finished, select "Pictures" to filter photos quickly.

Step 3. You can preview the photos before you recover. Click "Recover" and choose where to store the recovered photos.

Besides using this premium photo recovery tool, you can also enable Windows File History to find backups of your photos. Go to "System & Security" > "File History" and restore your ARW files. But if you have turned it off or it has been a relatively long time before the last time you checked these files, you'd better look for help from a photo recovery tool like Data Recovery Wizard Pro.
