Lost Files After Moving and Undoing on Windows 8

I used drag and drop to shift several photographs from one folder to another. I then used Ctrl + Z to try to return them to the original folder. Sadly, I discovered these pictures were gone, and I couldn't even find them in the recycle bin. How do I get them back?

Control + Z is a very useful Windows 8 shortcut that Windows users widely use, and it will save a lot of time when you do some regretted operations. We can restore other data files we're working on or undo earlier activities by hitting Ctrl+Z at the same time. It's not a master key, though. According to the circumstance, some users accidentally hitting Ctrl+Z have lost files and are looking for solutions to recover deleted information.

Don't worry! Ctrl + Z deleted file recovery is possible for Windows users. When you find the files have disappeared, you can stop using Control + Z to undo your operation. You can right-click in your folder and select "Undo Delete" to see if your deleted photos will appear again. If this method is not helpful, you can try the next one.
