What Is the Best Format for Swtich SD Card, exFAT or FAT32

Hi, I recently became interested in 'CFW consoles' and would like to hack my switch. However, I'm unsure of what format I need after reading various comments that dispute the best format—some claim that Fat32 is the best, while others assert that exFAT is superior but that there is a chance of data corruption.

You need to format your SD card before using it on the Nintendo Switch. What is the best Nintendo Switch SD card format, exFAT or FAT32? Both work fine: exFAT allows for larger file sizes, while FAT32 has limitations (4GB maximum). However, exFAT requires users to upgrade their Switch and download the related drivers, which is complicated and time-consuming.

According to my experience, FAT32 is the recommended format. No matter what format you need, EaseUS Partition Master Professional can easily format your SD card to exFAT or FAT32. Refer to the quick steps below to format an SD card for Nintendo Switch:

Connect your SD card to the computer that installed EaseUS Partition Master:

Step 1: Locate your SD card, then select "Format" by right-clicking on the partition you wish to format.

Step 2: After selecting the partition, set the cluster size, file system (FAT32), and new partition label. Click "OK."

Step 3: To proceed, select "Yes" from the pop-up box.

Step 4: To begin formatting your SD card, click the "Execute 1 Task(s)" button on the toolbar and then select "Apply".
