How to Backup Wallpaper Engine?

Hi, I'm a heavy fan of Wallpaper Engine and have a very large collection of great-looking wallpapers. But now I have to reset my computer or it won't work at all. I don't want to lose these wallpapers, is there any way to help me backup the data of this software?

Wallpaper Engine supports the Steam Cloud feature. This feature provided by Steam for some software or games helps you to sync the data of that software or game automatically. All the wallpapers and playlists you have subscribed to are uploaded by Steam to their servers.

Once your computer has been reset, you will need to download Steam again, log in to Steam with your account, and download Wallpaper Engine again. After installing the software successfully, you will be able to open Wallpaper Engine and see all your favorite wallpapers.

However, it should be noted that for some technical reasons, Steam Cloud's sync function is not stable, and there may even be some errors that cause you to lose all the data of the software and cannot be recovered. If some wallpapers are very important to you, I suggest you perform an additional backup operation of Wallpaper Engine.

By default, this is the location of Wallpaper Engine files:

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/431960

You'll need to follow the path above to that folder and back it up manually or with a tool to another external drive or cloud space. After reinstalling Wallpaper Engine, just restore the data copy to the original location.

If you have a lot of file data, then the manual backup method may consume a long time. And professional tools like EaseUS Todo Backup can greatly improve your work efficiency.

EaseUS Todo Backup is the most useful backup software available and has rich and smart backup features. You can use it to back up and restore all your wallpaper data in a very short time and rely on it to protect your entire system data. It creates automatic backup schedules for you, creating copies of your important data on local disks, USB, or 250GB of cloud space (provided by EaseUS for free) on a fixed periodicity.
