How to Make a YouTube Video into a Ringtone for iPhone

Like other YouTube converters, EaseUS Video Editor can convert a file on YouTube to another format. For instance, it can convert YouTube audio to MP3 so that you can set the MP3 file as your ringtone. EaseUS Video Editor can also work as audio mixer software to make your ringtone more impressive.

In converting YouTube video to ringtone, you have to use two applications - EaseUS Video Editor and iTunes. EaseUS Video Editor converts the YouTube video file into audio, while iTunes helps to apply the ringtone.

First of all, you need to download the YouTube video to your computer.

1. Convert YouTube to Ringtone with EaseUS Video Editor

There are two ways to convert a video file into audio using EaseUS Video Editor. The first method is to export it as audio, and the second method is to directly use the audio detaching tool to remove the video and only keep the audio file.

Both two methods can help you save YouTube videos as audio files. But before that, download EaseUS Video Editor, and install it.

Steps to Convert File Format Using EaseUS Video Editor:

Follow this guide to turn YouTube videos into audios.

Step 1. Add Video to Timeline

Open EaseUS Video Editor and select the right aspect ratio for your video. Next, add videos to the timeline. If you want to mix and match multiple videos, you can also drag and drop them.

Step 2. Edit the Audio

If you want to remove unwated part before set it as ringtone, you can right-click on the video or use Control + B to split and remove the unnecessary part.

You can also right-click the video and select "Audio Detach" to split audio and video, and then you can remove the video file while keep the audio file.

Note: iOS can only recognize audio files that are up to 35 seconds. Anything more than that will not be on the list. Make sure the audio is no longer than that.

Step 3. Export the Audio

Click on "Export" button, and then choose the audio section, and select AAC as the audio format. Make sure to configure the settings for the best sound quality in terms of bitrate.

2. Use iTunes to Import Ringtone to iPhone

Step 1. Connect iPhone and Import Audio

Connect your iPhone with your MacBook or computer and launch the iTunes software.

Then click on the file, import, and select the YouTube video file we exported from EaseUS Video Editor. Sync your iPhone or iPad with iTunes, and the audio file will be copied to the device.

Step 2. Set the Ringtone on iPhone

Open Settings on your iPhone, and then switch to Sounds & Haptics. Under Sounds and Vibrations Patterns, tap the sound that you want to change. Tap a ringtone or alert tone to hear and set it as the new sound.

If you're going to change the ringtone for a particular contact, then the method is different. First, open the contacts app and find the person on the list. On the top-right corner, click on the Edit button. Lastly, tap the Ringtone or Text Tone option, then choose a new sound, which is the ringtone you just imported.
