How to Do SCSI RAID Recovery [RAID Lost]

After a power outage, my Dell Poweredge old-school server did not switch on, and a succession of bad events began. I'm not sure what RAID configuration was used, but the drives were 146GB x 4 in size. Is there any hope of getting the data back, at least out of the purpose, if I obtain another identical server and attach these new disks with the same SCSI RAID card as the old server but don't know the bay sequence for drives?

Yes, data can be recovered from a SCSI hard drive. SCSI hard drives are supported by most modern data recovery solutions, provided you have the proper adapters to connect the drives to your computer.

The SCSI hard drive can be formatted to a Windows-recognized file system and use the proper adapters such as NTFS, FAT32, exFAT, etc.

The next step in SCSI data recovery is downloading reliable data recovery software after connecting your SCSI device to your PC. Because of the vast number of such programs available on the internet, it is critical that you select only one of the best data recovery apps on the market.

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard is a quick method for recovering data from SCSI hard disks. It is the ideal solution for SCSI data recovery, whether due to an electronic failure, corruption, unintentional formatting, faulty sectors, or RAID rebuild failure. It is capable of recovering data from hard drives and SCSI-connected RAID arrays.

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard instructions for retrieving files from a SCSI hard drive:

  • Install EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. After downloading it, remember to save the software to a device other than the SCSI hard disk. This is done to prevent the lost data from being overwritten again.
  • Connect your computer to the SCSI drive.
  • Open EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, choose the SCSI drive from the list of devices and click the Search for lost data button.

The major challenge in retrieving data from a SCSI RAID disk is locating the correct connectors and drivers. The data recovery process is straightforward and does not require technical expertise thanks to data recovery software such as EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard.

Use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover deleted or lost files easily and quickly.
