I accidentally deleted all videos from my surveillance station by setting the limit to archive folder less than the current video folder size. The consequence is all the videos were gone. I've searched Synology's site and am still looking for a way to get through. How can I recover those files with the Btrfs file system?

Suppose you have backups or the Btrfs snapshots enabled for that volume you deleted accidentally. In that case, you can recover deleted videos on Btrfs volume from Synology NAS from your backups or snapshots.
If it didn't help you recover deleted videos on Btrfs volume from your Synology NAS, I would like to introduce a more accessible and more effective way to retrieve your videos: a third-party data recovery tool, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard.
It can help users to recover format files and deleted files, such as videos, photos, documents, emails, etc. You can follow the steps below to recover deleted videos:
Step 1. Open EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard on your Windows PC or Mac, select 'NAS Recovery', and choose your target NAS which stored your deleted videos.
Step 2. Click 'Scan' to see the deleted, lost, or existing files on your NAS server. You can click 'Filter' or 'Search files or folders' to find deleted videos on Synology NAS.
Step 3. Select the videos you need to recover and click 'Recover' to save them to another safe location.
To avoid losing their videos, Synology suggests that users enable Recycle Bin on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) to make NAS data recovery from the Recycle Bin. Here are steps to enable Recycle Bin on DSM:
Step 1. Go to DSM>Control Panel>Shared Folder.
Step 2. Choose a shared folder and click on 'Edit'.
Step 3. Select the 'Enable Recycle Bin' in the windows, and click 'OK' to save settings.
Use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover deleted or lost files easily and quickly.
