My home directory is btrfs-formatted. I destroyed a presentation file I was working on by mistake, thinking it was the shortcut I was removing. Is it possible to restore this file?

Btrfs has grown in popularity in recent years. It is now mature enough to be used in most simple cases, including different RAID levels. The most recent Btrfs version can correct common issues in a Btrfs Raid-5 file system.
The Btrfs file system's snapshot capability allows you to generate a live duplicate of a shared folder. As a result, if vital files are destroyed or lost, you can easily retrieve them to the point where the snapshot was taken. Btrfs does not require double the storage space for Drive's file versioning and history data. You can restore historical versions of files in Drive without worrying about running out of storage space.
Btrfs operates on a transactional basis. Any update to the fs is considered a transaction, and you can typically still view a few older transactions. You can test if you can recover files from an older transaction that is still active. Note that the page is "deprecated," so not everything may operate as indicated, but it's worth a go if you're desperate.
Obviously, all of the standard recovery caveats apply: Unmount it as soon as possible, or better yet, disconnect the plug; never operate on the original fs directly; instead, create a device-level clone and work on it.
The Btrfs file system's functions are quite powerful, yet it can be highly inconvenient when files saved in it are erased or lost. How can you quickly restore erased data from the Btrfs file system if you encounter such a problem? There is an excellent approach to accomplishing this. You may easily recover Btrifs data using EaseUS's user-friendly NAS data recovery software.
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, a professional data recovery application, is useful for recovering corrupted files, photographs, and hard drives and works well with Btrfs data recovery.
