Accidentally Formatted APFS SSD with Encrypted Partition, How to Recover

As the title says, I'm using an SSD with encrypted APFS partitions. I unintentionally encrypted APFS on the entire drive and lost the partitions in the process. Is there a way for me to get my lost data back? I sincerely appreciate any guidance you may provide.

You can recover unintentionally deleted films, audio, photographs, documents, archives, and other things from an APFS SSD or HDD with EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac. You can restore lost files on an APFS partition after formatting, macOS upgrading or corruption, etc., or you can recover trash Mac.

Step 1. Start the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac, then select the hard drive, SSD, SD card, USB flash drive, or TF card where the lost data was stored. To begin scanning, click "Search for lost files."

Step 2. The program will automatically check MacBook/iMac for lost data. After the scan is finished, use the "Type" and "Path" options to narrow down the data you wish to see.

Step 3. To preview a file, double-click on it. Then, select "Recover" to transfer the lost data to another location.

The built-in APFS system disk cannot be accessed from any apps because of the macOS requirement. Thus, you should rely on an expert and trustworthy APFS data recovery program if you happen to lose some important files and want to recover lost files from the system disk under macOS High Sierra 10.13, macOS Mojave10.14, or macOS Catalina 10.15.

If your Mac partition is damaged as opposed to lost or erased, you can use tools already installed on your Mac, such as Disk Utility. Rather than helping in its recovery, this method can fix a lost partition on a Mac.

  • Open Disk Utility. To do this, find it under Finder - Programs - Utilities.
  • To search for it in Spotlight, you may also merely use the menu bar or the keyboard shortcut Command + Space.
  • If the damaged partition is on your startup disk, restart your Mac in macOS Recovery mode first.
  • Choose First-Aid after choosing the damaged partition. If your partition includes many volumes, you must first restore each volume independently using the same method.
  • After the volumes have been fixed, the partition as a whole has to be fixed.
  • Confirm in the pop-up box, and then follow the instructions there.

Use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover deleted or lost files easily and quickly.
