Can't Recover Any Data After Formatting a SSD by Mistake

After exchanging two SATA connections, I erased the single partition of my 2TB storage drive when performing a clean installation of Windows 10 on my 500 GB SSD. How do I recover data from this formatted SSD when Windows then prompts me to do so to utilize it again?

Solid State Drives (SSDs) represent cutting-edge compact memory technology, which ensures long-term endurance and dependability, as opposed to HDDs. An SSD controller keeps track of and retrieves the data stored in each SSD block. Your SSD experiences less wear and tear since there are no tiny moving parts within, extending the drive's life.

The TRIM function is often turned on by default with SSDs. The TRIM command enhances accessibility and maintains data organization on an SSD. Although TRIM speeds up SSD performance, it also deletes no longer-needed data. Data recovery is difficult since this erased data is permanently overwritten (frequently when the machine is inactive) when you enable TRIM SSD. That may be the reason why you cannot recover any data from your formatted SSD.

Actually, you should rescue data from your SSD when your Windows is warning you to format the SSD. You can use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to rescue all your files and folders on your SSD. This software will help you recover deleted photos, documents, emails, videos, and other files from SSDs, HDDs, USB flash drives, SD cards, and other storage devices. Most importantly, it can help you recover data from a dead hard drive.

If you cannot recover any data with recovery software, we think you need professional help. You'd better not try to recover data manually by yourself, and it is possible to lose your data forever. If the data on your SSD is not that essential, you can give up on recovering data and use your SSD more carefully in the future.

Use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover deleted or lost files easily and quickly.
