To begin with, Local Reinstall is a feature that allows you to reinstall Windows on your computer without going through the entire process of downloading and installing the operating system. This can be a useful tool but you need to check the pros and cons before using it.

Therefore, it's better to create a backup of the Windows installation before using Local Reinstall. This is not difficult, you can do it with the built-in Backup and Restore tool. Or, you can use third-party backup software such as EaseUS Todo Backup.
