Installing Windows 10 to SSD without USB or CD

Hello, my computer is running Windows 10, and I recently purchased an SSD. Is installing my Windows 10 on the new SSD without a USB possible? And if possible, how should I do it? Do I need to remove the hard drive before booting into the OS in the SSD?

Yes, you can install Windows on a new SSD without a USB or CD.

The simplest way to install Windows operating systems on a new solid-state drive without a CD or USB is to move Windows 10 from the existing hard drive to the new SSD and boot from it.

For that, you need to clone your Windows from the HDD to the new SSD. But Windows 10 does not come with cloning software. Therefore, you should use professional cloning software to clone your Windows 10 to a new SSD without a USB or CD.

In that case, professional SSD cloning software - EaseUS Disk Copy, can help you to move your existing operating system to your SSD.
