How to Move Everything from HDD to SSD: No Reinstallation

I recently formatted my HHD and installed Windows 10. Today I bought an SSD. Is there any way to move everything from the HDD to the SSD and Windows?

There are two ways to move everything from HDD to SSD:

1) copy and paste files manually;

2) clone the entire HDD to SSD at once with disk cloning software.

Using the copy-and-paste method is OK if there are not too many files and applications. However, moving files will take a lot of time and energy if there are too many things to transfer and download.

Therefore, it is recommended that you use a professional disk cloning tool to replace HDD with SSD without reinstalling Windows or anything else.

Step 1. Install or connect the solid-state drive on your PC. (Back up files on the SSD if you need data. The cloned drive will be overwritten during the cloning process.)

Step 2. Download, install, and launch EaseUS Disk Copy on your computer. You need a third-party utility, as Windows lacks a built-in cloning tool.

Step 3. From the left panel, go to Disk Mode. Select the HDD as the source drive and the SSD as the target drive.

Step 4. Choose a disk layout option for your cloned SSD: Autofit the disk, Copy as the source. or Edit disk layout.

Step 5. Confirm the notification popup and click Proceed to start cloning.

Step 6. Once down, power off your PC and install the cloned SSD.

Step 7. Restart your computer, enter the BIOS settings, and change boot drive from HDD to SSD.
