Compared to SATA, NVMe has speeds of up to 3500MB/s, more than six times the speed of SATA HDDs. Cloning Windows 10 to an NVMe SSD is a very good option.

📍It is not difficult to clone a SATA HDD to NVMe, but you need to have the following things ready:

  • M.2 slot with NVMe support
  • Computer with UEFI boot mode support
  • Excellent disk cloning software

Here I would recommend you to download EaseUS Disk Copy, one of the most reputable cloning programs available, which is not only easy to use, but also has extremely rich and useful cloning features. In a very short time, this tool will show its power to clone Windows 10 on SATA HDD onto your new NVMe SSD for you.

📍After preparing all the above things, you can now follow the steps to start your cloning process.

Step 1. Connect the new NVMe SSD to the slot.

Step 2. Check and free up the space of SATA HDD and NVMe SSD.

Step 3. Download and install EaseUS Disk Copy on your PC.

Step 4. Pree Win + R to open the Run button and enter diskmgmt.msc.

Step 5. Select the disk, and navigate to Properties> Volume. Make sure the partition style is GPT.

Step 6. Now you can run the clone software and start the cloning process with its prompts.
