Does Windows 10 File History Backup Subfolders?

I recently checked on the content of the File History folders, and I found that the backup process did NOT include all subfolders from my Documents folder. I want to figure out does Windows 10 File History backup all subfolders. Can anyone answer my question?

Sure! Like Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10 File History can also back up all the folders saved on users' account folders and files in subfolders.

Windows 10 File History can backup basic files on your computer automatically, including Documents, pictures, videos, music, or other OneDrive files available offline on your PC. By default, it backs up all Desktop, Downloads, Media, other folders, and subfolders.

However, it can only meet basic backup needs, and sometimes you might find your files are not backed up after days later, and it's apparently running with File History saving copies of your files. Or, some errors often occur, like file history not recognizing this drive and more.

Given that, finding a professional backup software is necessary. EaseUS Todo Backup is such a program that ensures your data is always backed up and safe. With its help, you are able to back up disk, partition, operating system, and files and then save all the backups to local drives, external hard drives, NAS, and even the cloud. Moreover, you can choose different backup options, including incremental and differential backup, scheduled backup, encrypted backup, set backup frequency, and more. To conclude, it is an excellent backup software that is worth trying.
