Does Seagate Have Cloning Software?

I have a Seagate hard drive on my Windows 10 computer, but it is almost full. Therefore, I want to change it to a larger SSD. I know cloning is the best way to change from an HDD to an SSD. But does Seagate have cloning software?

Yes, Seagate has a cloning utility called Seagate DiscWizard.

Seagate disk cloning software is necessary if you intend to clone Seagate HDD or SSD to replace a hard drive or protect your data. Seagate DiscWizard can help you in such a situation.

Seagate DiscWizard, an integrated program, has a clone feature that allows you to move your operating system, programs, and data from the old disk to the new disk.

With it, you can:

  • Upgrade your HDD to SDD for better PC performance.
  • Replace the old hard drive with a new one for larger storage space.
  • Create a backup of the data on the Seagate hard drive.

However, as a disk cloning utility, Seagate DiscWizard has some drawbacks:

  • The dynamic disk cannot be cloned.
  • It can't clone a single partition.
  • It only applies to Seagate and Maxtor hard drives, and the cloning may sometimes fail, such as Seagate DiscWizard not cloning.

Therefore, if you want to clone your Seagate hard drives, third-party cloning software, such as EaseUS Disk Copy, is your better choice.
