Does Samsung Magician Clone Drives?🔥

I got a new Samsung T9 SSD and want to use it to replace my old one. I want to transfer my Windows from my old SSD to the new one, but I do not know whether Samsung Magician can clone hard drives. If not, what can I use to clone my Samsung SSD?

Samsung Magician is not capable of cloning a hard drive. If you want to clone a Samsung SSD, you will need to use Samsung Data Migration Software or professional SSD clone software like EaseUS Disk Copy.

Samsung Magician is a disk management tool for Samsung SSDs and is specifically designed for Samsung products, such as SSDs, memory cards, and USB drives. It has a wide range of features, including firmware update, drive health status, secure erase, performance optimization, and total bytes written, etc.

Unfortunately, the Magician does not offer a disk clone feature that lets you clone a hard drive. Although you can use the Samsung Data Migration Tool to help you transfer data from one SSD to another or migrate OS from one Samsung SSD to another, it is not supported for non-Samsung SSDs.

Worse still, you may encounter many issues when cloning SSDs with Data Migration Software, like Samsung Data Migration stuck at 0%, Samsung Data Migration not detecting SSD, etc.

Therefore, it is better to use third-party cloning software to clone a hard drive. EaseUS Disk Copy will suit your every need.

It can help you clone an HDD or SSD from various manufacturers, like Samsung, Western Digital, Kingston, Micron, Intel, etc. If you want to replace old SSD with a new SSD, it can help you a lot, and it has a simple user interface that lets you clone a disk in just several clicks.

Furthermore, it can let you clone a hard disk with bad sectors, transfer data from an old hard drive to a new PC, and create a WinPE bootable drive to boot your new computer.

Samsung Magician doesn't have a hard drive clone feature. If you want to clone a hard drive, you'd better use professional disk clone software like Clonezilla, or EaseUS Disk Copy.
