The answer is YES. Backup and Restore (Windows 7) can work well in Windows 10 systems.

According to the official answer from Microsoft Community, this utility is called Windows Backup, and it does support Windows 10 and also Windows 11. It can be used to help you create a system image that contains a copy of all programs, system settings, and files. With it, you can easily back up certain folders or files.

You can find it on Windows 10 with the following path: Control Panel > System and Security > Backup and Restore (Windows 7).

You should pay attention to the fact that Backup and Restore (Windows 7) does not come with Windows 8 and 8.1.

Apart from this Windows built-in program, there is a large sum of backup software for Windows. EaseUS Todo Backup is a popular backup software, and it has been updated to support Windows 11/10/8/8/1/7 systems. With its simple interface, you can easily create a system image or clone HDD to SSD for your computer. It provides different ways, like full backup, incremental and differential backup, compressed backup, encrypted backup, etc., for users to back up their data easily.

EaseUS Todo Backup is a more comprehensive Windows solution than Backup and Restore (Windows 7). If you have been using Windows 10 system for a long time, it is suggested to use this reliable backup software. It does help to protect your data from virus attacks or other potential risks.
