I recently bought a brand-new PC and thought adding my old SSD to it would be good. Can I put my SSD in a new computer and have all the data transferred?

You can install your old SSD in a newly built PC if the solid-state drive meets the new computer's hardware requirements. Check if the following conditions are met:
If the old SSD can match the hardware of the new PC, install it on the new laptop or desktop. Give the reused SSD a boot priority if you need to use it as the boot drive.
What if the Windows SSD has dissimilar hardware? Don't worry. You still have an option: clone old SSD to new SSD without losing data and OS reinstallation. Prepare a qualified hard drive and download the EaseUS Disk Copy.
This robust disk cloning software lets you move everything from a new HDD/SSD to a new/larger hard drive in a few clicks. It also works when you clone a hard drive with bad sectors.
After cloning this old drive to the qualified SSD drive, you can replace the old SSD and install the new one on your computer.
Give the cloned drive boot priority if you plan to use it as the boot drive; just install it on your new PC if you are prepared to use it as the storage drive.
